I partially agree because not only online education but the face to face education is much more beneficial. Also not ignoring that the online education has bought much ease for teachers and students but on other side it has made studnets a bit lazy and unattentive towards their studies. Also the remote areas lack of infrastructure has proven a great challenge for children who are in villages and also living in town. So yes not probably a good thing for Indian Higher Education. You cannot do practices sitting on laptop which needs a proper lab and appraturs like the engineer students the architecture and design students.

    Hi guys!
What's up, I hope you all are fine. So guys, today I am going to share my own views on impact of COVID-19 on Indian education system. Some of the systems are most affected by COVID-19 but education system is one which is most affected by COVID-19. Due to COVID-19 Indian government has started to give online education to students, but all students are not rich as they have Android phones. Then what about that students? Means they have to wait for starting offline classes. Overall I want to say that COVID-19 is impacted bad on education system.

I would like to highlight the other side of the impact of COVID on Higher Education in India. Being a student I could feel the need of the hour to make changes in our education system which has not yet upgraded so well in years. Yes, COVID isn't good for higher education as it is not about just theory but practical too which I must say is for namesake as they are conducting lab sessions online, is that even worth it? I have an answer, it is not because in our system practicals are not practicals they are more about theory and learning rather than implementation. So, in conclusion, I would like to add COVID is probably one of the good t

    Greetings to all
    In my opinion
Covid is not at all good from education point of view
Because education is not about theory only it's more about practical implication, If you cannot apply what you are learning then learning will lost its meaning, it only made us realised that we lack too much in applying things, that's we ruined our earth and doing the same now also, we are not able to arrange help for migrants, we are depend on china too much, so there was no practical implication prior nor it can happen in lockdown,. .

    Hi
COVID, a nightmare has awakened mankind and jolted him out of his dreams of thinking that he has done quite a lot for himself. Imagine being challenged by a small virus which turned out to be the deadliest. If we had to check the positivity of this nightmare, it would be the students have realized that they cannot laze around and they need to take the onus of making their career. They have learnt to study without the direct aid of teachers. They are not spoon fed. They have realized the importance of teachers and classrooms. They miss their regular labs. The weakening points have come to the fore. Net connectivity is a glaring issue

    Hi
The night mare of covid is unforgettable. It has taught may lessons to making who was going astray. If I have to discus education, it has helped the students to realize the importance of taking the onus of the preparation of lessons fo exams. They have realized that the studies are not to be spoon -fed but at a higher level they need to be dealt with great care. The student today has realized the importance of teachers and class room teaching because they feel lost without the continuous coaxing of the teachers and the fun elements of their friends. The weaknesses too have been brought forward as the network speed is an issues in man

    My first thoughts are:
    1. Yes the teaching fraternity has become more creative and innovative.
    2. Larger number of people are tech savvy.
    3. Large education giants like LPU invested heavily into research ($1mn fund)
    4. Students also getting more tech savvy and created many a platforms themselves. Now the challenges:
    1. The bandwidth of data in the country is constrained, data speed has slowed down considerably due to great increase in usage.
    2. Larger part of population lives in rural areas where data speed is low.
    3. Larger part of population doesn't have resources like devices and connections.
    4. There is uncertainty over many things wh

Students in Jammu and Kashmir are reeling under a double whammy of slower internet speeds and the ongoing nationwide shutdown due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Educational institutions, which are trying to help out students in various ways, are finding that their options are limited due to the same problems
Student of Jammu and Kashmir, who asked not to be named, said that videos on the most popular study website for students YouTube are streaming at only 240 pixel resolution, making it impossible for students to read the text in the videos.

Due to Covid 19, we are forced to make balance between old styles of learning e.g. textbooks, notebooks etc. with new age learning style e.g. books, online live sessions, etc. I personally believe that nothing can replace the traditional method of one to one physical classroom session. Nowadays, kids find online sessions very interesting and innovative as they are so used to mobile and internet facilities. They find it easy and quick to acquire information from social platforms. At the same time, it is an opportunity for the teachers and professors to upgrade their skills by learning to use different teaching software. I work as an Ass

Today, in this critical time, all the students are facing the consequences of the pandemic on education - the cancelled exams, delayed graduation, and a shift from learning within the four walls of the classroom to online learning. The best part is that most of our students are from Gen Z, a generation that is familiar with mobile phones and computers right from their childhood/birth. We at Thadomal Shahani Centre for Management (TSCFM) have always encouraged and used technology to enhance our students' learning experience. Our approach to education is a blend of technology and offline classroom lectures delivered by industry experts.

This is the time where we have to make a balance between the traditional education system using books, notebooks and high-tech education system e-resources. Because we all know that using only internet as a medium in the education will make students more dependent rather than independent. Nothing can take the place of physical classrooms. Electronic medium is the part of our natural classrooms.

Yes, there is no doubt that Covid pandemic has forced the institutes for encouraging online platform for students. Due to this, many universities realized that their online platform for students is not sufficient. So for that purpose, all the universities and institutes are working on this problem which will lead to the digitalization in education system. But still examinations are a problem for the universities because not all the students are ready for this. This will take time but at least due to this pandemic, we have to think about it. Online education is best but not for students like engineers, medical, ITI and many more profess

    MS Shashi Prabha,
The COVID 19 Pandemic crisis has brought a smooth shift in the Educational Landscape. I visualize a great opportunity in the integration of the two platforms, the traditional and the online. The change in the teaching and learning paradigm has surfaced innovative ways to salvage the young and jubilant minds. Professors across the Institutions have rapidly zoomed into the online platforms and upgraded their skills by learning to use different software for teaching and assessments. Institutions are creating a repository of video lessons to provide the best to aspirants. A liaison between Industry and Institution is palpa

Post COVID-19, the era will be the phase of education transformation. As many people think that internet facility is not available in many places in India. But in the real sense internet has a wide coverage in all over the India. Almost more than 90% of the places in India are well equipped with internet facility. This transformation will put pressure on remaining 10% places to change themselves according to the current situation. Now we can easily see in many states where the state board education has been transformed by using technology as a medium. For example, government schools in Delhi have been well-equipped with technologies th

In continuation with our discussion and further points based on opinions are:
    1. The placements in good institutions are done for those who will complete next month. Many companies are asking them to join during July itself. Few companies may postpone till August.
    2. Online internships are offered for which online interviews are happening in many good institutions.
    3. It is right time for all of us Reskilling and upskill in the relevant technologies needed by industries.
    4. Also some of the human value related parameters like discipline, teamwork, care and share can be practiced during these periods apart from academic learning.

For what people are you saying that COVID-19 will be a revolutionary phase in the higher education? Perhaps it's right. But many students belong to the places where there is no good internet connection. So how will they study? Plus, in this situation they can't change their location.
