The National Agricultural Education Board of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, a self-governing organisation charged with coordinating agricultural education and research in India, has accredited the M.Sc. Ag. (Genetics & Plant Breeding), M.Sc. Ag. (Agronomy), and M.Sc. Ag. Horticulture (Fruit Science) programmes to ICAR. The Ministry of Agriculture's Department of Agricultural Research and Education is its parent organisation.
