Does LPU have ICAR recognition?

The minimum age required for enrolling in the programme is 16yrs. Merit in qualifying examination LPU NEST subject to eligibility criteria. University gives an option to go abroad as well.

In this meeting, the Board examined 8 PRT reports and discussed accreditation based on the information contained in Self Study Reports, Peer Review Team Reports, and remarks of the Board Secretariat. Here, LPU School of Agriculture was approved for accreditation with a GPAC of 3.42. Among all the 8 institutions evaluated, LPU School of Agriculture got the highest ICAR Rating, which is a clear indication of the quality of programmes at LPU School of Agriculture.

Hi, Yes, of course. In fact, LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is the apex body for coordinating, guiding, and managing research and education in agriculture in the entire country. If the University is ICAR approved, It means the university has all the resources like fields, labs, etc. One of my cousins graduated in this course from LPU and I will highlight some of the features. 1. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. 2. The faculty is well qualified and most of them are Ph. This and provide full support to the students. 3. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held and if a faculty wants a leave either the makeup lectures are planned or adjustments are provided for that particular slot. 4. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff. 5. University provides additional placement-oriented classes and students also studied subjects like analytical skills, soft skills, etc. Etera as part of the curriculum to prepare the students for all types of competitive exams. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, and many other firms. Thanks.

The ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) is an autonomous body responsible for coordinating agricultural education and research in India. It reports to the Department of Agricultural Research and Education, Ministry of Agriculture.
