Does LPU have ICAR recognition?

LPU is recognised by the ICAR. The Indian Council of Agricultural Research has approved Lovely Professional University as the first private university in India. A BIG YES ! Agriculture department is one of the finest departments in the LPU. Well-equipped and well grown from the last couple of years. Moreover, LPU is the first private university got ICAR approval. LPU holds a stellar record in placements as big brands like VLCC Healthcare Ltd. , Ankur Seeds, HDFC, Dhanuka Agritech Ltd. , Ebro India Pvt. Ltd. , etc. Have visited for campus recruitment at packages upto 4.5 LPA. In addition to this, students can attain positions as Agriculture Inspectors, Agriculture Officers, POs, Food Quality Inspectors, Agriculture Development Officer, Horticulture Development Officer, Technical Assistants and administrative posts in government and non-government organizations. Over and above, I also came to know that recently, LPU has been ranked in top 80 amongst all private and government institutes by NIRF, MHRD, GOI which shows the quality being delivered at the institute.

Yes, LPU has ICAR recognition. In fact, it is the first private University in India to have ICAR recognition. The courses under ICAR are: B.Sc. (Hons. ). Agriculture with GPAP of 3.72M.Sc. Being an alumni I want to answer this. As ICAR stands for Indian Council For Agricultural research. OfCourse! LPU have ICAR recognition. B.Sc. (Hons. ). Agriculture, M.Sc. Ag. (Genetics & Plant Breeding), M.Sc. Ag. (Agronomy) and M.Sc. Ag. Horticulture (Fruit Science) programmes are accredited to ICAR by the National Agricultural Education Board of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, an autonomous body responsible for coordinating agricultural education and research in India. It reports to the Department of Agricultural Research and Education, Ministry of Agriculture.

Yes, LPU is sthe first private university in India to get ICAR accreditation. Not only this, LPU is 78 Amongst all government & Private universities in India asper NIRF ranking. In terms of placements also, LPU is the 10 Best Training and Placements Institutions in India for 2019 by The Knowledge Review. Yes sure it does have in fact LPU is the private university to get ICAR accreditation. Isn't it amazing? After all, LPuU is one the most prestigious universities of India and have many ranking and accreditation. It is Ranked among the Top 100 Indian Universities and Colleges by NIRF. And Ranked 3rd among Power Private Universities. And also It is considered one of the top 5 private universities of the country because of its quality education and high placements, immense course exposures.
