Does LPU provide good placements for mechanical engineering?

Definitely, LPU is the right option to pursue ME. LPU is the best in terms of placements as compared to any other institute. LPU is renowned private university with more than 30,000 students and experienced faculty from various institutes. As per my view LPU has an edge in terms of curriculum, exposures, and placements. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Several big brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic sessions. LPU provides best placements and exposures to their students. But what I fee is that, be it any university, the placements scale is directly proportional to the students preparation towards the placements. Its a industry driven university where the education and learning is not limited to the classrooms, bit extended to practical knowledge through labs, participating events in Go karting, Supra, etc. The good thing about LPU have PEP (Placement Enhancement programmes) which conducts various online tests, specialised classes, and sessions to prepare for group discussions and interviews through Mock Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. The alumni of LPU has placed in renowned companies like Bosch, Tech Mahindra, Ford, Maruti Suzuki, etc. CTC ranges minimum to 4 Lacs and a maximum of 15 Lacs.

Mechanical engineering is the discipline that applies engineering physics, engineering mathematics, and materials Science principles to design, analyze, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems. It is the branch of engineering that involves the design, production, and operation of machinery. The Mechanical Engineering department had the most ideal study environment since I have two friends from that stream and they both got placed in Hyundai India Motor Ltd. As far as Mechanical engineering is concerned, I can tell you this course carries extra baggage and it is very fruitful if you choose LPU as a medium. I would like to share their experiences:- A Mechanical Engineering student goes through an experiential learning process surrounded by high-end the latest labs and equipment including robotics and automation. International tech-fests and competitions encourage all-round development in students in addition to giving them international exposure. LPU alumni are working in top MNCs across the globe like Voltas International, Honda Two Wheelers, Asahi India Glass Ltd. , Indo Farm Tractors Ltd. etc. LPU Students have been offered International locations like Dubai and Oman by Voltas. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Quantitative Aptitude Skills Technical Aptitude Skills Presentations and Soft Skills Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc. ). .

Hello, Placements at LPU is always applauded. With best of my knowledge, I am sharing the major placement highlights. LPU is good in case of placement but if we talk about the placement in Mechanical branch. In Mech the no of students placed in Core company like Honda, Cheema Boilers etc. If we take a look of last year students placed in recent batch:- 1. Honda-2 students at 8 Lacs 2. Cheema Boilers=around 7 or 8 students selected as a Trainee Many students got placed in Anglo-Eastern I. e Merchant Navy, and some students in Samundra which is also a Merchant Navy Institute. Hettich India and Giga solar selected 11 students from Mechanical Engineering for package worth 5.0 Lacks and 2.4 Lacks for on job trainings. Students have got top packages from leading tech companies. Students of Mechanical engineering are placed in Honda, VOLTAS, XL Dynamics, Anglo Eastern Ship Management, Hero MotoCorp, Hyundai Constructions, and many more. With the guidance of great faculty members, Sunny Kumar Gupta, a student of the Mechanical Engineering of LPU bagged 61st rank in GATE 2018 amongst the 2,00,000 students that appeared for the exam. Placements :. As you know, LPU got a lot of students and maximum (approximately.90%) of them who want to take placements got placements in big companies. In my batch, the highest salary offered is 18 Lacs by Amazon and it was a non-campus drive. Minimum went around 2.8 Lacs. We have companies like Amazon, Lava, Capgemini, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Xerox India, ITC, Tech Mahindra, Bosch, Josh, S. A. P labs etc. And lots of startups and small companies. 20-30% people got an internship from their respective companies but LPU offers you their own internship opportunities. Most from the companies they are linked with since a long time. The highest stipend offered was 4-5 Lacs by Amazon and the lowest was 1.2 around by S. A. P Labs. Infrastructure : LPU's infrastructure is really big. You got Wi-Fi on the full campus. No matter the classrooms, labs, hostels or malls, hospital and even in apartments provided by LPU in LPU only. Labs are good. It means most of the computers work and properly work. Classrooms are now full AC. We have got around 4 libraries, at least those I have visited. Medical facility is good. LPU got its own hospital and ambulance for 24*7 service. Sports and games happen all the time. Food quality is really good in canteens. They take food very serious and LPU is all Vegan. If you want more LPU, we have got Pizza Hut, McDonald's, CCD and lot more in our malls. Hostel rooms are good and increase the price they will increase your comfort as a 5-star hotel. The infrastructure has only one problem. It's too big for your two small feet. Now they are making a big swimming pool and you got a roller skating ground too. Faculty : The faculty is really helpful. And I mean it. You won't find any faculty members in any colleges like in LPU. I know that because I have seen the difference in other college faculty and LPU's faculty. All of them are M.Tech and Holds are all Ph.D. holders and some of them are even gold medalists. They are helpful and friendly, most of them. It also depends on your behaviour.

Rs 7.5 LPA for ME from Wilmar When it comes to Automobile Engineering 95% to 98% of the senior batches have been placed in top-notch companies such as HERO MOTORCYCLES, HYUNDAI, ESCORTS, TAFE and many more. The employment growth rate of mechanical engineers is expected to increase by 9% from 2016- 2026. Since their employment is in various industries the growth in each industry will impact the overall growth in employment. The contracting services from companies will continue to add to the growth in engineering services.
