Placements :. As you know, LPU got a lot of students and maximum (approximately.90%) of them who want to take placements got placements in big companies. In my batch, the highest salary offered is 18 Lacs by Amazon and it was a non-campus drive. Minimum went around 2.8 Lacs. We have companies like Amazon, Lava, Capgemini, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Xerox India, ITC, Tech Mahindra, Bosch, Josh, S. A. P labs etc. And lots of startups and small companies.
20-30% people got an internship from their respective companies but LPU offers you their own internship opportunities. Most from the companies they are linked with since a long time

Mechanical engineering is the study, design, development, construction, and testing of mechanical and thermal sensors and devices, including tools, engines, and machines. Mechanical engineers work mostly in engineering services, research and development, and manufacturing. I would say LPU is better for mechanical engineering based on the following point. LPU is good for Mechanical and automobile engineering. Good placements in a core company as well as a software company. Other than participating in different events like a go-kart, project expo, entertainment events like one India, one world, etc. Practical-based learning and valuable

Mechanical engineering deals with the working and functioning of electrical equipment, heavy machines, different materiel to make human life easy, and motor vehicles which has a large scope in the future markets. My younger brother studied at LPU at the same stream. When it comes to placements, There are more than 100 companies that are coming to LPU for the recruitment of mechanical students. The packages vary from 3 Lacs to 12 Lacs per annum. On average, the packages are 5 Lacs in a very core company which gradually sees a couple of rapid promotions based on your handwork. School of Mechanical Engineering is among the best engineering colleges in Punjab. I had some friends in Mechanical dept. And they had great things to say about the mechanical engineering department. LPU is the largest university in India and it has many highlights. In terms of international tie-ups, the university stands apart from other universities in the countries. With the constant zeal to improve and provide endless opportunities to the students, the following tie-ups are a few feathers in the cap:
