How are the placements in LPU and Manipal?

Hello, Lovely Professional University is better than others in terms of Placements. Recently LPU has been awarded with National Employability Award and Students of LPU are termed as Most Employable Students. There are two major points to be noted here, One is that Placement depends on the students equally as on the university, as student has to maintain a good academic record and should add few stars to his/her CV to land up on better placement. Secondly, University should not just focus on connecting student with the company, but should polish the student in such way that he/she is able to crack any interview easily. Being and LPU alumni, I have observed that LPU gives you ample opportunities to boost your CV and also focuses on over all development of student so that cracking any interview is a cake -walk. Many LPU students at LPU even hold multiple placement options, I am glad, I am one of those. Campus placement at Lovely Professional University has always been a sought after event for the final year students. Division of Career Services sets up recruitment drives and job fairs on a regular basis. Apart from this, it also extends abundant facilities such as resume writing sessions, career advisory services, and aptitude development workshops to proffer better placement to the students. Industry leading companies, every year, come to Lovely Professional University to participate in recruitment drives. Placements are administered by a team called Division of Career Services. This team aims to help students in obtaining relevant work experience to complement their academic studies and to develop appropriate skills and knowledge to be ready to work in tandem with best minds across industries LPU does provide great opportunities and platform for students in the CSE branch to grab great placements. Recently 3 Students of the similar course was recruited by Amazon at the package of 28 LPA for their Artificial Intelligence Skills. That's like 2.33 Lacs per month. In addition, the same company Amazon is again coming to LPU as a Joint Campus drive with the same package of 28 LPA as on end of March 2019. On an average CSE student are recruited at a package of 3.5 LPA till 6 LPA on an average. More than 550 students hired on a single day by Cognizant, not once but TWICE that is more than 1000 students, which has set a record in the whole of North India. In LPU The placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) and generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session. I believe that you should visit LPU campus or you can contact from the website also.

Hi Rahul, I can not say much about Manipal University but I am damn sure that they are doing good in their Zone. Yes but I can endorse the flaunting of LPU in which they are generally very loud and clear that not less than IIT's, Iims, NLU's, AIHM's etc. There are 365 days in an year but LPU witness more than 600 companies to conduct Campus placement Drive. Which means students SEE Placement Drives going on at every alternate days. LPU says that they provide 100 % placements to all the eligible and placement aspiring candidates. Many times I saw them advertising them that their students are at more 1 crore packages.

I have experienced LPU only, so I can tell you only about it. Fees: Best thing about LPU is optimal fee for those who have a good score in class 12th standard or other entrance exams. They provide good scholarships that continue till the end of the B.Tech. Placements: In CSE, LPU has a good record in placements. Companies like HTC, Cognizant come here for mass placements and they give an average salary package. Many other companies also come here. Some of them recruit less number of students but with a very good salary package. So if you think that you can work hard to be among those less number of students, then LPU is a good option. Faculty: As in almost every private institute in India, there are some teachers who are very good and some who are not that good. Ultimately it is up to the hard work you put on your study. Exposure: The best thing about LPU is the exposure that you will get here. You will meet with all kinds of people here. University provides a good platform for every talent.

I believe both colleges are among the top colleges of India. Being an education counselor, I have heard a lot about the placements and the efforts taken by the faculty to provide good placements to the students. LPU is a renowned private university with more than 30,000 students and experienced faculty from various institutes. As per my view LPU has an edge in terms of curriculum, exposures, and placements. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible students to secure good placement. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Several big brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic sessions. The University has recorded the highest placements in North India. Moreover, The University has tie ups with more than 250 national and multinational companies such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon, SAP, Cognizant, Cisco, Bosch, Automation Anyware, Texas Instruments, Zara International, Big Basket, Hyatt International, etc. A girl got placed with a package of 42 LPA. Recently, students got placed in amazon with a package of 28 LPA. The university has been ranked high by various outer agencies with regard to placements of our students. As per my opinion, LPU provides ample opportunities to the students of every programme where as for Manipal, placements for branches like CSE, IT, CCE are good, but other branches are just getting above average.

LPU has good placements, especially for B.Tech CSE graduates and LPU is the North's largest campus with the best infrastructure. Placements in LPU is better than Manipal, as almost 70% of students get successfully placed in some companies.

As per my knowledge both the University provides good placements to the students, being a Alumni of LPU I know more about lpu placements, LPU does provide good placements. A lot of top recruiters visit the LPU campus for hiring the students, such as Tech Mahindra, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, and many other companies. Some time back, Amazon recruited 3 LPU students with a record package of 28 LPA. Also, 9 students were placed in VMware. Startups like Think & Learn and Practo has offered students dream packages of 5-10 Lacs. Cognizant alone has hired over 1800 LPU students in the past. More than 550 companies are visiting LPU for recruitment. In addition to this, more than 40 companies have offered dream packages to the students of the university. The companies visiting the campus have only increased over the years. The university has been recognised by Digital Learning for having the highest placement record in Northern India in the year 2018. You can SEE that the university puts in every effort to bring the best companies for campus recruitment, but it is only up to the student to make the most of these opportunities.

Being an LPU student placements are really very good, especially for management and engineering courses so I can assure you for LPU and for Manipal not having much idea. But you can visit the sites and explore both and accordingly take decision. All the best.
