Being an alumnae I have experienced LPU placements very closely. Round the year there are wonderous efforts LPU placements puts in transforming and polishing their students in best direction. There are multiple corporate interactions, HR conclaves, live projects, industry competition, professional enhancement training etc. That plays the magic. Dear Rahul, I have no details of the placements at Manipal University but being alumni of LPU I can share the details of placements at LPU with you. LPU created a new record in the whole of North India by placing its student Tanya Arora with Microsoft, who bagged a package of 42 LPA. Besides, other record-breaking placements for LPU includes:
the highest Placement (Engineering) Rs. 42 Lacs per annum (Microsoft)
the highest Placement (Management) Rs. 21 Lacs per annum (SOBHA Developers)
the highest Placement (Design) Rs. 36.5 Lacs per annum (SIXT India)
Amazon recruited LPU students on a package of 28 LPA
The highest internship stipend is up to 80k per month. (which is really hard to get in other universities)
The reason why LPU has better placement records than other universities is because of its unique career cell. It enables students in getting relevant work experience to complement their studies and develop appropriate skills and knowledge. Resume writing, aptitude development workshops among other activities are hosted for the overall development of students and prepare them to crack the interviews easily. LPU's placement record is generally strong but varies by course and student performance. Top branches like CSE, IT, and some core engineering and management programs see better placements, with big companies like Microsoft, Google (via off-campus), Amazon, Cognizant, Accenture, and Infosys visiting over the years. A few students do get very high packages, but these are exceptions, not the norm. Many students get average packages in the range of 4–6 LPA, especially in mass-recruitment roles. Your skills, internships, projects, communication, and networking matter more than just the college name, even at LPU or any other university.
