How are the placements in LPU and Manipal?

I am unaware about the placements of Manipal but I came to know about the good placement record of LPU through one of my friend who did her studies from LPU. Every year nearly 600 companies visit for campus-recruitment of students. The companies which have visited as of now are: Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amdocs, Capgemini, Verizon, SAP Labs, Hitachi Power, Videocon, L&T Technology Services, Ericsson, HCL Technologies, Asahi India, Ceasefire Industries, Sandhar Technologies, Indus tower, Decathlon Sports, Exide Industries, Emami, Eye-Q Vision, ITC Limited, Janalakshmai Financial Services, Kelloggs, MRF, Naukri, Moodys Analytics, WNS Global, Writer Corporation, Nivesh Group, OCWEN Financial, Practo etc. Considering the above mentioned points, I can confirm that LPU is best option to pursue. LPU has floated COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship for COVID survivors and their dependents as well which is the best possible effort it can provide to target every aspirant in this current scenario. Being an alumnae I have experienced LPU placements very closely. Round the year there are wonderous efforts LPU placements puts in transforming and polishing their students in best direction. There are multiple corporate interactions, HR conclaves, live projects, industry competition, professional enhancement training etc. That plays the magic. Hi Rahul, Initiatives taken by any University in terms of Placement of their students must be considered as prime parameter for selecting BEST University. Being alumni of LPU, I must say that, LPU is always pro-active for providing the best placement opportunity to its student. Lovely Professional University is always concerned about all round development of the students. I don't know about manipal university but as LPU faculty, LPU does provide good placements. A lot of top recruiters visit the LPU campus for hiring the students, such as Tech Mahindra, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, and many other companies. Some time back, Amazon recruited 3 LPU students with a record package of 28 LPA. Also, 9 students were placed in VMware. Startups like Think & Learn and Practo has offered students dream packages of 5-10 LPA. Cognizant alone has hired over 1800 LPU students in the past. More than 550 companies are visiting LPU for recruitment. In addition to this, more than 40 companies have offered dream packages to the students of the university. The companies visiting the campus have only increased over the years. The university has been recognised by digital Learning for having the highest placement record in Northern India in the year 2018. You can see that the university puts in every effort to bring the best companies for campus recruitment, but it is only up to the student to make the most of these opportunities.

Dear Rahul, I have no details of the placements at Manipal University but being alumni of LPU I can share the details of placements at LPU with you. LPU created a new record in the whole of North India by placing its student Tanya Arora with Microsoft, who bagged a package of 42 LPA. Besides, other record-breaking placements for LPU includes: the highest Placement (Engineering) Rs. 42 Lacs per annum (Microsoft) the highest Placement (Management) Rs. 21 Lacs per annum (SOBHA Developers) the highest Placement (Design) Rs. 36.5 Lacs per annum (SIXT India) Amazon recruited LPU students on a package of 28 LPA The highest internship stipend is up to 80k per month. (which is really hard to get in other universities) The reason why LPU has better placement records than other universities is because of its unique career cell. Around 550+ companies visit every year for such activities and campus recruitment of students from LPU. And this year for the batch graduating in 2020, already more than 650 placement/internship drives have been conducted till February 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs). LPU has one of the best placement records in the whole of India and that is why students want to join LPU to get placed. Right from Google to Microsoft, LPU alumni are working with the top brands at the package of 1 crore and above. Annually, more than 450 brands come to LPU to recruit students, where 90% of them are MNCs. Moreover, 80+ companies that recruit from IITs and NITs also recruit from LPU. Over the last three years, Cognizant alone has recruited 1900+ students from the LPU campus and has been titled with the Most Employable Students consecutively twice in a row by India's top talent company Aspiring Minds. Barring few names in the south, there is hardly any college that can boast of such tall records.
