How are the placements in LPU and Manipal?

Hello Deepanshu, Both the universities have good placements. As an alumni it might seem that I support LPU but this is the reality which I have experienced in LPU during my graduation and post graduation. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placement with the help of a dedicated Division of Career Services The university has been ranked high by various outer agencies with regard to placements of our students More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU; and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) and generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session. At Lovely Professional University, they do not talk about job placements, but career placements. As per students interest and inclination towards his or her career choice LPU provide career pathways and accordingly changes are done in the students curriculum based on the pathway being opted by students like: Corporate jobs Government Jobs Higher studies Entrepreneurship Research

Due to tie ups, the curriculum of courses are framed according to their point of views which helps the students to learn new and the latest technology as subjects. Rahul, I can not say much about Manipal University but I am damn sure that they are doing good in their Zone. Yes but I can endorse the flaunting of LPU in which they are generally very loud and clear that not less than IIT's, Iims, NLU's, AIHM's etc. There are 365 days in an year but LPU witness more than 600 companies to conduct Campus placement Drive. Which means students SEE Placement Drives going on at every alternate days. LPU says that they provide 100 % placements to all the eligible and placement aspiring candidates. Many times I saw them advertising them that their students are at more 1 crore packages.

If you talk about B.Tech in computer Science and engineering, then placement of Manipal University is good the highest is around INR. 20 lacs and averages around INR. 5 lacs if we talk about LPU, then the highest is INR. 12 lacs offered by Amazon India and average is around INR. 3.5 lacs.

LPU is well known for placements in each and every sort of course so whatever you opt you can get the best placements and especially in engineering and management fields, so in this case, you should opt for LPU.

Both colleges are doing good but I heard a lot about LPU's placement. The University has recorded the highest placements in North India. Moreover, The University has tie ups with more than 250 national and multinational companies such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon, SAP, Cognizant, Cisco, Bosch, Automation Anyware, Texas Instruments, Zara International, Big Basket, Hyatt International, etc. A girl got placed with a package of 42 LPA. Recently, students got placed in amazon with a package of 28 LPA. The university has been ranked high by various outer agencies with regard to placements of our students. As per my opinion, LPU provides ample opportunities to the students of every programme where as for Manipal, placements for branches like CSE, IT, CCE are good, but other branches are just getting above average.

Lovely Professional university I can say the placements of this University is great. The placements are tremendous and you will get plenty of opportunities to choose from but it is your duty to maintain a capable academic record so that you can fetch a job in the best company that visits the university for recruitment. The placement in MBA at LPU is about 95% and above. Almost all batches were placed in well-known companies. Average package offered for MBA students is 4.5 LPA. Some of the leading companies (like Practo, Think and Learn, Colgate, ICICI Prudential, Tech Mahindra, Axis bank, WNS, CISCO etc. ). Recruited a good number of students from our department with the maximum package of 17 Lacs. Many of my know alumni's are placed in renowned companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, HCL etc. LPU provides a good platform for placements for all streams and programs. LPU has a separate dept which looks after placement opportunities. Apart from that, each school has its own placement coordinator who is responsible and actively works for not only calling companies to the campus, but also for preparing students for placements by giving them proper training. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Quantitative Aptitude Skills Technical Aptitude Skills Presentations and Soft Skills Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc. ). .

A considerable number of MBA students were chosen by global corporations such as Amazon, Flipkart, IBM, Deloitte, Earnest & Young, Danone Foods, KPMG, Reliance Industries, Bank of America, VIVO, ICICI Bank, and ITC. Chandigarh University is the university with the best placements. Global companies like Amazon, Flipkart, IBM, Deloitte, Earnest & Young, Danone Foods, KPMG, Reliance Industries, Bank of America, VIVO, ICICI Bank, and ITC selected large chunk of MBA students. The year 2020 saw a jump of 20% in placement offers while a surge of 15% was registered in a number of companies visiting campus for placements in comparison to last year. The highest package offered by the Indian multinational for MBA touched Rs. 18 LPA by Go Winning while the highest international package of Rs. 28 LPA was offered by Amazon in Berlin. Both average and median salary packages offered to MBA students at Chandigarh University touched a new high in 2020. More than 30 companies recruited students from Banking & Finance specializations while 100 multinationals recruited students from Marketing and Business Analytics specializations. A total of 30 companies recruited students with HR specialization while 20+ MNCs students of IT specialization. Some of the companies which offered the highest packages included IT Companies Amazon & Mindtree which offered 28 LPA and 14 LPA respectively, and Financial & Consultancy Global firm Deloitte, which offered a Rs. 8 LPA packages to MBA students.
