Hello Virat,
Well, there are a few good universities in India for Civil Engineering. I can give you the answer to this question based on the feedback received from students who are known to me and are currently studying Civil Engineering at LPU. Besides, few colleagues of mine who have previously worked in the same Dept. So, following are the highlights of Civil Engg in LPU: -

Besides, few colleagues of mine who have previously worked in the same Dept. So, following are the highlights of Civil Engg in LPU: -
1. Most of the faculty staff are from reputed organizations with their highest degree from various reputed institutes such as IITs, NITs, etc. Apart from that, faculty have got previous industrial experience also.
2. The capstone project is an integral part of the B.Tech program in which students have to pick a live project based on the practical problem-based scenario (ideally from industry) and work for six months under a mentor and present a report at the end. This is beneficial to enhance your presentation skills.
3. There is an internship program that could be an opportunity for getting work experience and increase your chance to get employment after you pass out. But, of course, your academic record should be good to get this placement option.
4. Industrial visits are organized to nearby construction sites from time to time. There, you can see actual construction work going on. Be prepared to have dust on your shoes (believe me, it will be worth a lot). You have to ask questions yourself and trigger interest in the activities around you.
5. You will get some courses from soft skills, English language, mental and analytical aptitude side. This sounds dull to you as of now. But you will feel its importance when you face an interview panel in a company during your placement drives.
6. They have very good placement records and good infrastructure companies visit their campus, L & T, Simplex Piles Ltd, Era Infrastructure, Gammon India Ltd to name a few.
7. Career-oriented Software training in project labs is given. To work in this profession, you are supposed to be familiar with software like MS-Project, STAAD Pro, MX Road, etc. Nonetheless, you will be trained in Auto CAD in your second year which is a prerequisite for any Civil Engineer.
8. Every theory course is complemented with relevant lab-based practical work. Some of the labs are based on field testing where experimental work is to be done, e.g. Soil Lab & Surveying Lab.
I hope that helps you to make a wiser decision. Rest lies on you. But, yes, four years is enough time to groom your personality.

LPU offers a high-quality degree, as well as extensive scholarship programs and holistic learning opportunities. Skills, modern technology, experience are most important parameters for getting a good placement. That's why I would suggest LPU to be the best option.

Civil Engineering is another good field to join. LPU is among the top Civil Engineering colleges of Punjab. Also, one of India's Best Civil Engineering college in Punjab, Civil Engineering Discipline empowers its students with state-of-the-art technologies and the latest labs that are at par with international education standards.

LPU offers B.Tech in various programs such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. One must consider the following points:
1. LPU has 600+ acres of campus in Punjab and more than 25000+ students study there among many countries.
2. A-one infrastructure- All the facilities are available on the campus. You don't need to go outside in case of any need such as food, hospital, indoor/Outdoor sports stadium, etc.
3. Highly qualified faculty. Many specializations are provided by the CSE department such as AI, ML, Cloud Computing, Data Science, etc.
4. Every year more than 90% of students placed for the CSE

LPU is one of the best universities you will find to pursue a B.Tech in Civil. The teachers and the placement record are excellent here. The university provides plenty of internships and training opportunities to its students so that they get to learn in a practical environment and gain industry experience.
