LPU has become the only private university to obtain the NABL Accreditation of its laboratory testing facility under which the Unilab-Mechanical Testing of building and construction materials in the School of Civil Engineering, LPU is NABL accredited. There are certain remarkable points that makes LPU better for Civil Engineering, like:- LPU prepares their students from day 1 to become the most sought after civil engineers through meticulously designed framework. Students are instilled with the latest advancements in the field of Civil Engineering through construction site visits, workshops as well as competitive workshops. As an LSCE student, you will be adept at industry-specific software like STAAD-Pro, Etabs, MX Road, and, MS Project. As per Payscale, proficiency in MS Project is the most sought-after skill in a Civil Engineer The Curriculum meets the industry expectations, and especially emphasizes on practical than theory In order to provide good facilities and better scope LPU teaches students by performing practical as well. They assign you different project which will be beneficial from your placement point of view. While when you are in developing your project proper facilities of labs are also provided where you can go even at night also. Talking about Civil Engineering placement, it was well and good. Top recruiting companies are SOBHA REALTY, Trident Group, Great Learning, PHABLE, Cognizant Technology Solutions, etc. The majority of students are on internships subject to PPO (Pre-Placement Offer). Well, as far as I know, LPU is well known for placements, and this year 2021, During the 2021-22 placement seasons, the number of offers peaked at a herculean 7200+ and counting, LPU surpassed all the other premier institutions in the country. They have set the notion of super dream placements a reality for aspiring Vertos. The placements at LPU keep getting better despite the ever-growing reigns of the pandemic, while the other institutions are still shaken by the soaring effects of the coronavirus outbreak. Anyways, talking about placements in the civil engineering dept. Two Civil Engineering Students Placed in Trident with Packages of INR 15 LPA Two Civil Engineering Students, Gourvind Singh, and Prince Raj, got placed in one of the Fortune 500 companies TRIDENT with packages of INR 15.0 LPA. Then a B.Tech. Civil Engineering Student Owais Khan got placed in Dharam Consulting with INR 4.5 LPA package. A Civil Engineering Student Sandeep Saini got placed in OYO rooms with INR 4.0 LPA package. Mr. Shahalam Siddiqui got placed in Earth to sky infrastructure with a package of 3.6 LPA.
