LPU is a good college for mechanical engineering for better career prospects. Major industries that employ mechanical engineers include automobiles, space research, aeronautical, energy and utilities, air conditioning, bio-mechanical industry. The Mechanical Engineering department had the most ideal study environment since I have two friends from that stream and they both got placed in Hyundai India Motor Ltd. Not as a CSE student, large-scale fieldwork is required and mechanical students keep of developing themselves working in their respective workshops and their live projects. LPU is good in case of placement but if we talk about the placement in Mechanical branch. In Mech the no of students placed in Core company like Honda, Cheema Boilers etc. If we take a look of last year students placed in recent batch:- 1. Honda-2 students at 8 Lacs 2.
