How are the placements of B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from LPU?

Being LPU alumni, I got the chance to interact with B.Tech Mechanical passout students based on their review, I can share the following information. Around 550+ companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. And this year for batch graduating in 2019, already more than 650 placement/internship drives have been conducted till February 2019 with leading industry giants. 2000+ LPU students pursuing successful career in USA, UK, Canada, Australia. 2500+ Offers (placement/internship) extended to LPU students by alone by 20 of Fortune-500 companies like CTS, Amazon, IBM, Verizon, Xerox, HP, Tech Data, Samsung, Morgan Stanley, Oracle, United Health Group, etc. Over the past few years. 610 students hired by Cognizant Technology Solutions in a single day the highest in North India till date. 100+ selections each by other Top Companies like Tech Mahindra, Capgemini and Amazon in a single academic session. LPU is a good college for mechanical engineering for better career prospects. Major industries that employ mechanical engineers include automobiles, space research, aeronautical, energy and utilities, air conditioning, bio-mechanical industry. The Mechanical Engineering department had the most ideal study environment since I have two friends from that stream and they both got placed in Hyundai India Motor Ltd. As far as Mechanical engineering is concerned, I can tell you this course carries extra baggage and it is very fruitful if you choose LPU as a medium. I would like to share their experiences:- A Mechanical Engineering student goes through an experiential learning process surrounded by high-end the latest labs and equipment including robotics and automation. International tech-fests and competitions encourage all-round development in students in addition to giving them international exposure. LPU alumni are working in top MNCs across the globe like Voltas International, Honda Two Wheelers, Asahi India Glass Ltd. , Indo Farm Tractors Ltd. etc. LPU Students have been offered International locations like Dubai and Oman by Voltas. Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technology Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. The syllabus is updated every 6 months which personally, It has separate lab facilities available for each course like robotics Lab, research lab, postgraduate lab, aviation lab, lab for fashion designing, advance kitchen lab etc. Faculty members are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, They have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help they are ready to help you out. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Quantitative Aptitude Skills Technical Aptitude Skills Presentations and Soft Skills Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc. ). All a student has to do is to maintain a good academic record and personality to ensure his/her placement.

Being a budding engineer myself, I'd like to mention that LPU is a great place to pursue any kind of engineering and mechanical engineering is one of the core engineering disciplines after all. This question reminds me of the Go Kart championship which is very thrilling to watch. Now talking about mechanical engineering The school has well qualified and experienced faculty members with specialisation in various fields like, Aerospace Engineering, Automobile Engineering, CAD/CAM, Engineering Design, Industrial Engineering, Machine Tool Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Metallurgy, Robotics, Thermal Engineering, etc. Student has an Automobile club under Society of Automobiles India, Under which the teams has participated in various competitions by making there vehicle in Supra SAE (Student Formula CAR), Baja SAE India, BAJA SAE USA, Efficycle. Organized International Go kart Championship which is a student initiated automotive event the first international event of its kind receiving participation from all over ASIA. So far the students have been placed in the companies like Asahi Glass India Ltd. Cognizant Tech Mahindra Anglo Eastern Ship management etc.

Hello! LPU is famous for its placements, more than 600 companies are regular recruiters from the campus every year. From Trident which offered 15 LPA to Emeryll to Forbes Marshall which offered 6 lacs of package, students get a whole lot of placement opportunities depending upon their domains and CGPA as well as their interests. Many students in Mechanical stream also opt for further studies for their career prospects in research and faculty positions. Hello, Mechanical engineering deals with the working and functioning of electrical appliances and motor vehicles which find large scope in the future markets. Not as a CSE student, large-scale fieldwork is required and mechanical students keep of developing themselves working in their respective workshops and their live projects. When it comes to placements, one should be knowing about the curriculum and the working of the mech. Department in LPU. Here, there is a separate tower for mechanical students and very remarkable history of achievements made by the students only.

It would be a good choice to opt for Lovely Professional University as in the present scenario this is the university which caters to the all round development of its students and nurtures it with care to boost the career to a pinnacle of ultimate success which might be the envy of many. I am saying this because my brother has completed B.Tech Mechanical from LPU, His experience at LPU was amazing, Currently he is working with XL Dynamics with decent package. As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication & presentation skills and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enroll in. Hello, Placements at LPU is always applauded. With best of my knowledge, I am sharing the major placement highlights. LPU is good in case of placement but if we talk about the placement in Mechanical branch. In Mech the no of students placed in Core company like Honda, Cheema Boilers etc. If we take a look of last year students placed in recent batch:- 1. Honda-2 students at 8 Lacs 2. Cheema Boilers=around 7 or 8 students selected as a Trainee Many students got placed in Anglo-Eastern I. e Merchant Navy, and some students in Samundra which is also a Merchant Navy Institute. Hettich India and Giga solar selected 11 students from Mechanical Engineering for package worth 5.0 Lacks and 2.4 Lacks for on job trainings. Students have got top packages from leading tech companies. Students of Mechanical engineering are placed in Honda, VOLTAS, XL Dynamics, Anglo Eastern Ship Management, Hero MotoCorp, Hyundai Constructions, and many more. With the guidance of great faculty members, Sunny Kumar Gupta, a student of the Mechanical Engineering of LPU bagged 61st rank in GATE 2018 amongst the 2,00,000 students that appeared for the exam.
