How are the placements of BE in Aeronautical Engineering from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE)?

    Hi there,
    It's necessary to know that aeronautical is not a core branch and it is not available in all the colleges. Taking into consideration that it is available in DSCE, it is one of the most organised and advanced department when it comes to infrastructure, updated courses and faculty here.
    However regarding placements, the placement for aeronautical branch is particularly good. Aero engineers are recruited in consulting and service firms like Infosys (consulting services for clients like Boeing, Lockheed, etc), Accenture, Musigma( analytics and market research in all domains) and also in core companies.

    Hi there,
    Aeronautical engineering is a study about the design and systems of an aircraft. It involves practical and theoretical understanding of materials, assembling parts, testing and maintenance of aircrafts.
    Placements of aeronautical engineering is not that good as compared to cse/it branches.
    Here is some of the insights of the college.
    Intake:- 180 (aeronautical)
    Placements
    Average package:- 3.5 lakhs (aeronautical)
    Highest package:- 9 lakhs
    Recruiters:- Gsr infotech, Cyient Limited, Airbus, etc.

    If core placement is what you expect after completing B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering then you should know that the college fails to provide you with any.
    You will get a job in some or the other IT company like (reputed mass recruiters) TCS, WIPRO or COGNIZANT and you will keep asking yourself the question that what have you learnt over the last few years of your job life. The only answer that you will get is that you have made a complete waste of your degree by walking up in an IT company rather than being stuck up working for core company placement.
