Hi there,
It's necessary to know that aeronautical is not a core branch and it is not available in all the colleges. Taking into consideration that it is available in DSCE, it is one of the most organised and advanced department when it comes to infrastructure, updated courses and faculty here.
However regarding placements, the placement for aeronautical branch is particularly good. Aero engineers are recruited in consulting and service firms like Infosys (consulting services for clients like Boeing, Lockheed, etc), Accenture, Musigma( analytics and market research in all domains) and also in core companies.

Aeronautical engineering is a study about the design and systems of an aircraft. It involves practical and theoretical understanding of materials, assembling parts, testing and maintenance of aircrafts.
Placements of aeronautical engineering is not that good as compared to cse/it branches.
