Yes you can definitely pursue B.Tech through lateral entry, you can go ahead if you qualify the below eligibility condition I. e. Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) (3 years after 10th or 2 years after 10+2 (Non Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or BCA or equivalent. Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT, commerce, arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .
