You can avail admission in B.Tech lateral entry after fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned in the LPU website. It would have been easy for me to guide you if you mentioned the stream, as there are certain conditions according to the stream. The basic criteria is minimum 60% in Diploma and other conditions have to fetched from www.lpu.in

(Computer Science) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST-2017. Or, in case marks scored in Diploma (engineering) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. Hi, For admissions, 2020, the admissions are being done online and the eligibility criteria to seek admission in B.Tech (lateral entry) is Pass with 60% in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) (3yrs. After 10th or 2 years after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-medical)/ B.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent. Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT, commerce, arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .
