You have good chance of getting admission in good college as you have received good marks in JEE. So, no need to worry about college and just get updated time to time about admission process.

It is difficult to get any NIT or IIIT, I would say. There are also other colleges other than NIT and IIIT. You still have a chance for your state colleges and many other private colleges you can apply for.

Actually it is a good score. If at all you have reservation then there are chances you may get a good NIIT. If you belong to OC then you have to still try harder.

    Dear Shambhavi,
With these marks your tentative rank is going to be 89114. With this rank, it will get somewhat difficult for you to get any good government college. Instead of settling down for some mediocre government college, it would be better if your try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Tech degree with various specializations. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both. Some even offer direct admission on basis of your marks in class 1

Yes, you will be able to get a good private engineering college. Fill the CAP round form properly of JoSSA. Fill the colleges in the correct order. Research about the colleges near you or the nearest city and see their cut-offs of last year for OBC. You can also use Shiksha.com's college predictor.

Well in my opinion, I will recommend Lovely Professional University. LPU is a well renowned university, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both national and international. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. The students also work on live projects, so that they are able to apply their knowledge to practical settings. It is one of the few that has embraced international practices when it comes to designing a curriculum. Instead of using old school books and
