I got 94 marks JEE Mains. Will I be able to get a good college?

    You might get a good government college, but not IIT or NIT, but you might not get the good branch. You can still try and talk to authorities of college in which you are interested. All the best.

    Yes, you can get good college like NITs, if clear the cut-off. However, you must be very selective while choosing among NITs because many of NITs are not doing well in academics, even in comparison to a few private engineering colleges. But if you did not qualify and have not taken entrance exams of these universities/ colleges, even you can opt for good private colleges affiliated with government state universities. One best emerging college in Jaipur been crossed to me is Anand International College of Engineering, which has an international faculty and follows ABET confirmed international educational systems.     It depends upon category marks. You can also get a NIT college on the basis of your JEE Main exam or your score is good. You can easily get a good engineering college.

    It depends on the cut-off list for this year, last year, a friend of mine scored 105 marks in Mains in the general category and in the 7th spot round counselling he got IIIT-Bhubaneshwar.

    Yes, there are plenty of other good colleges also than IITs and NITs.
    You can visit: https://scoop.eduncle.com/jee-main-advanced-participating-colleges to get the complete list of colleges accepting JEE Main scores.
    Due to very high competition, many students fail to get into the IITs, NITs or CFTIs. But they don't have to worry as they can take admission in various reputed colleges using there JEE Main scorecard, such as:
    BITS Mesra
    Thapar University
    Singhad University etc.

    Hi there,
    With these marks, you will not get any NIT or IIT. However, you can try for GFTIs or state government engineering institutions. Also, many good private institutions gives direct admission on basis of JEE marks, you can apply for that. Hope you got your answer.     You must go through this and plan your preference list accordingly.
    Common Rank List-81, OBC-NCL-49, SC-32, ST-27, PwD-1.
