You chose to do MBA, so go for BBA. That would be a plus point for you in an interview for MBA and overall. Because, then you know what you have to study and what to prepare for MBA entrance.

Well, I recommend you to go for BBA rather than B.Com, because you don't need a very high level of accounting knowledge for business, but B.Com will add a plus point in your career at initial stages.

BBA can be sought as a very good combination with your MBA as BBA is professional course while B.Com is just a regular degree course. Although both BBA and B.Com (H) have more or less similar course structures, BBA from a good college will help groom your personality which will further give you a better edge above others while you're appearing for your MBA entrances.

In this situation, students can decide the stream based on their career, like if one prefer B.Com in graduation, in PG level, you can go with MBA or MCA. Like you will have both the opportunities while coming to BBA. You should only do MBA in future its better you go with B.Com. What ever the course you take it doesn't matter in MBA in for you.
    All the best.

B.Com is a traditional course, go for BBA. Convince your father about the syllabus contents in both the courses. BBA makes you wiser for the job market.

B.Com is designed to provide a student with a wide range of managerial skills while at the same time, builds competence in a particular area of business studies. In this course, students are exposed to general business principles, taking courses in accounting, finance, business management, human resources, statistics, marketing, economics and information systems. BBA is designed to give a broad knowledge of the functional aspects of a company and their interconnection, while also allowing for specialisation in a particular area. So, now it depends upon your interest. And, if you want to go for MBA I would suggest you to go with the B.C

Any way, your father is right. Choose B.Com now, and you can either go for MBA finance or CA CS CFA. BBA will shrink your possibilities when compared to B.Com.

BBA is the best option if you want to further continue with MBA. Course curriculum is more adaptable later on compared to that of B.Com. Good luck!

They don't play any role in it. If you are doing BBA then you will have plus point that many courses are there which are connected with management and if you do B.Com then also there is no problem because you will get placement on the basis of your MBA degree.
