Engineering is highly reputed profession and you can say a profession of gentlemen. There is no need to stuck between LPU and Chandigarh University. You can straightway take admission in Chandigarh University. Well, Chandigarh University is well known for its engineering wing. It has un-matchable placements records and great industry aligned curriculum. When it comes to picking up a university for engineering degree, with a huge competition around, it is important to know all facts. In my opinion, Chandigarh University is the right choice because:

Both Chandigarh University and LPU are good colleges and have a good reputation but I'll suggest you Chandigarh University. The university was established in 2012 by the Punjab State Legislature and is recognised by University Grants Commission under Section 2 (F) with the right to confer degrees as per Section 22 (1) of the UGC Act, 1956. Satnam Singh Sandhu serves as the University's chancellor. In the year 2020, the university became first single institution in India for filing the highest no of patents. [4] In 20

LPU and Chandigarh university are good colleges with good brand value and ranked constantly high in various ranking like NIRF. LPU is slightly ranked high. Also you can refer NIRF engineering ranking for this year. During engineering you can pusure demanding add-on skills which can help in placement. Also you can plan for government engineering entrance exam like UPSC engineering services, SSC JE DRDO, ISRO, GATE BHEL, etc. Best wishes.
