    Civil Engineering is considered a good engineering branch and students pursuing a course in the branch get different types of jobs. If you are interested in the field then you should definitely go for the branch. If you are looking for best university for Civil Engineering course, I would say Lovely professional University is best University to pursue this course. B.Tech in civil engineering course involves so much more than theoretical know-how.     Hi Kunal, let me tell you, Civil Engineers generally work in a variety of locations and conditions. It is common for them to split their time between working in an office and working outdoors at construction sites so that they can monitor operations or solve problems onsite. Now to work in multilingual environment, there is a high requirement of exposure to both National & International platform at the time of your pursuance of course itself. So in my opinion, it's better to grab the opportunity of International Exposure provided by the University. I am not sure about the offerings of other Universities, but being alumni of Lovely

    Dear Kunal, Yes, it is a good choice to pursue B.Tech in Civil if you have an interest in the construction field. My sister did B.Tech in Civil from LPU and working as a construction engineer in an MNC. As a Civil Engineer, you can take up career options in the diverse fields such as Building control surveyor, CAD technician, Consulting civil engineer, Contracting civil engineer, Design engineer, Nuclear engineer, Site engineer, Structural engineer, Water engineer, Rural and Urban Transport engineer.
