if u think that u will surely come up with good ranks, and will get scholarship in ur interested fields such as IIT , AIEEE or AIPMT. in order to get expected branch then I think u should take a chance. but for that u have to work hard in a smart way.and the rest the decision is yours, first analyse yourself and have some time and think properly.wish u all the best.

Don't drop a year. Instead, opt for a private institute.

If you are confident that you can score good in competitive exams then you can drop a year.

Yes you can drop 1 year for preparation but it's very difficult to maintain the zeal for the whole year. It's difficult to be enthusiastic for the whole 1 yr. If you r that much confident that you can do well and can maintain your focus then you can go for it. Otherwise qualifying in 1st attempt is the best option. Good luck.

In my opinion, "NOT AT ALL" it's only wastage of time. As one can not be sure of it that after dropping a year he/she will definitely get a good job

Hi...

I need to clarify first: are you asking about admission to Chandigarh University for B.Tech/B.E, or admission to a medical/paramedical course (like B.Sc Nursing, MBBS, BPT, etc.)

The marks required and exam rules differ a lot depending on the stream.

This dual-focus system allows students with strong 12th marks but no JEE score to secure admission, while rewarding JEE participants with merit a
