Yes you should drop a year for preparation of competitive exams. But make sure not to drop another year also. In this one year fully devote yourself to studies and solve as many mcqs as possible. Concentrate more on tough and important topics and tries to clear all your doubts. Don't worry with your consistent study and hardwork you can easily clear any competitive exam. And best of luck for your future.

if u get any good branch (especially cs)., go for it and prepare yourself in the college itself.next year u can again give competitive exams with more abilities.sitting at home would only create stress and pressure for the nxt year and probably u can't do well the nxt year.rest all on u.all the best.!!

if you have dream college then you may have to do so. but if you are wishing a wonderful course then it may be available somewhere else. if can in the top ten of your field then companies will come in search of you. if you are planning on some courses which you cannot get into without entrance exams then you are forced to crack the entrance.

to have drop after 12th is advisable only if you want to pursue medical stream. otherwise it is not advisable. it is taken very negatively particularly for management jobs. decide very carefully.

Hi...

I need to clarify first: are you asking about admission to Chandigarh University for B.Tech/B.E, or admission to a medical/paramedical course (like B.Sc Nursing, MBBS, BPT, etc.)

The marks required and exam rules differ a lot depending on the stream.

This dual-focus system allows students with strong 12th marks but no JEE score to secure admission, while rewarding JEE participants with merit a
