Is it beneficial to drop a year after 12 for preparation of competitive exams?
-
No it is completely useless even if you are confidant enough that you can crack it than also it is not that worthy because people who even have good knowledge are sometimes not able to crack due to certain circumstances and one of it might can be problem with luck , your stars. so i recommend you not to drop a year. Even it counts further during job it pressurize the interview team to think upon your case because "droppers" are called "droppers " though how much intelligent they be. as well you can leave one year after your graduation but not before it. study hard! All The Best.

If you are confident that you would crack competitive exams with outstanding scores, you can go ahead.

If Your an average student do not consider this as your option but if Your above average then u can definitely go for a drop year following are the constructive studies u can go for CS/CMA/CA and by above average I mean above 85%. Drop year is not healthy but constructive activity in a drop year is
good enough to cover it .Drop is never beneficial but it is better than a confused career decision. -
I would earnestly suggest not to drop. Better join any light course and simultaneously prepare for competitive.
