BCA makes you adept at the application level of computers whereas B.Tech makes you proficient at the 'technical' level (Software, Hardware, applications etc. ). For getting admission into B Tech engineering, most students appear for the national level Joint Entrance Exam, popularly known as JEE. Select in the best college which offers you the best academic facilities of good faculty, infrastructure, live projects, seminars, exposure, platform, scholarships, placements etc. LPU offers a complete package of quality teaching, intuitive learning aided with hands on practical training. B.Tech CSE is much more acceptable than BCA however it always depends on your knowledge, performance, caliber and skills which can take you higher no matter for whichever course you go for.

B.Tech CSE is a much better option to join. As per my experience, LPU is the best engineering college in India. LPU becomes the best place to pursue an engineering degree with highly qualified teaching staff, best laboratories, and modern technologies. LPU provides abundant opportunities for students to think out of the box. LPU is a better option, in terms of placements, best curriculum, infrastructure, well-experienced faculty, and provides hands-on experience on the latest technologies. LPU is providing its students the exposure by providing opportunities for guest lectures, workshops, industrial visits, internships, etc. With Quali...more

Hi Kunal, B.Tech requires 4 years, whereas BCA+MCA takes 5 years. B.Tech gives greater and better job chances than MCA in the business and public sectors. The B.Tech syllabus offers a far more comprehensive and well-regarded education than the BCA curriculum since it includes many more subjects. In the end, it's your talents that matter, therefore if you aren't accepted into the B.Tech programme, you may enroll in the BCA+MCA programme and get substantial technical knowledge in its place. When you work for a company, no one will ask about your academic record since they will value your job, experience, and subject knowledge instead. Th...more

BCA makes you adept at the application level of computers whereas B.Tech makes you proficient at the technical level (Software, Hardware, applications, etc. ). It depends upon your interest. After BCA for a better career, one should for MCA also but in the case of B.Tech. You can immediately look forward to the jobs in the industry. Both programs are having good opportunities. B.Tech CS/IT is the most acceptable degree in the IT industry. MCA is the second-best degree after B.Tech CS/IT. You are advised to do any based on your choice but from a reputed college that has good faculty and placement records. BCA + MCA still can't compete B...more

2 years agoWhile BCA gives students a good technology knowledge, it is advisable to complete your MCA to give yourself career wise push. After graduation, a student with a B.Tech degree has greater job opportunities than a student with a BCA.
