The basic thumb rule is that you should do a thing if it adds value to you and your profile. And for a degree to add value to you, it should belong to a reputed institute. Today we hear about engineers remaining jobless. But these engineers are jobless because they did their engineering from a poor or average institute. The same scenario will be applicable everywhere. If you do MBA also from a low grade college, it won't be helpful. If in general you compare MCA with B.Tech, definitely B.Tech is a much more valued degree if done from a good institute. Same applies for any other degree. Choose your college and stream wisely. Best of luc

Engineering is always and will remain upper hand than BCA or MCA. B.Tech engineer can apply for MCA jobs, whereas MCA cannot apply where ever engineering is the eligibility.

No, the candidates with B.Tech degree are given much more importance as compared to BCA candidates. If you are eligible for admission into B.Tech, then you should definitely take admission into B.Tech, but if not, then BCA and MCA are also good courses to pursue and make a career in IT Sector.

Hi, both are good courses to do, but I'll suggest you to go for B.Tech, as B.Tech has more value than BCA. And you can do MBA.

Not at all. B.Tech is a technical degree. No other degree certificate can compete it.
