BCA makes you adept at the application level of computers whereas B.Tech makes you proficient at the 'technical' level (Software, Hardware, applications etc. ). Whereas for BCA students need to have secured good grades in any of the Arts/Science or Commerce streams
LPU provides everything that an engineering student requires to achieve quality education and placements. Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, are an integral part of the curriculum. In addition to core curricula, the course offers subjects like communication, analytic

Dear Kunal, While BCA gives students good technical knowledge, it is advisable to complete your MCA to give yourself career wise push. After graduation, a student with a B.Tech degree has greater job opportunities than a student with a BCA. Therefore, I suggest B.Tech in CSE if you are really interested in the computer Science programme. One of my friend's younger brothers is studying over LPU in B.Tech CSE. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good from LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit

Yes, BCA and MCA is better than doing B.Tech alone, and it is because of the growing scope for software field in India now.

It actually depends on your interest. If you are good in computer part then BCA and MCA is a good option as well.
Since B.Tech students are more in number, you should opt for BCA and MCA.

There cannot be a close ended answer to this. Yes, B.Tech has lost its charm and there have been observations that jobs are not coming the way. But, the same applies on BCA or even MCA. B.Tech or BE are the primary Engineering degrees and BCA is considered the second line of Computer learning. See the difference in BC Applications and Computer Technology or science or engineering.

    Hello,
It depends on college reputation or from which college you are doing for B.Tech, IIT is best and for MBA, IIM or top 20 b-schools.
Now a days, MBA from good reputed b-schools have an edge over B.Tech, as in last few years we have seen that a students of B.Tech goes for MBA.
