Is it easier to crack Quantitative Aptitude than Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension?

<p>CAT is just like Olympics, where the questions come from what we did in our school, but, &nbsp;it&rsquo;s the competition that makes it extremely difficult</p><p>But what makes it even more difficult is that we have been constantly told and misled into believing that you&rsquo;ve got to be an academic topper or from a tier 1 college - IIT/NIT.SRCC or a smart guy somehow, to ace CAT.</p><p>Whether quantitative aptitude is easier to crack than verbal ability and reading comprehension depends on individual strengths, weaknesses, and personal preferences. Here are some factors to consider:</p><p><strong>Strengths and Weaknesses</strong>: Some individuals may find quantitative aptitude easier because they have a strong background in mathematics or enjoy solving mathematical problems. Others may find verbal ability and reading comprehension easier if they have a strong command of the language and enjoy reading.</p><p><strong>Preparation</strong>: The perceived difficulty of each section can also depend on how well-prepared an individual is. If someone has dedicated more time and effort to preparing for quantitative aptitude, they may find it easier to crack compared to verbal ability and reading comprehension.</p><p><strong>Test-Taking Skills</strong>: Effective test-taking strategies can also influence performance. <p>There are challenges associated with Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, and Quantitative Aptitude. Both require consistent practice. A long-term strategy is needed to prepare for reading comprehension and verbal ability. Long-term planning, mastering the principles of English grammar, reading books and periodicals to improve English comprehension, and regular language practice are the keys to passing this level. On the other hand, another essential component of any competitive exam is quantitative aptitude. It assesses a candidate's analytical and quantitative skills, which are useful in every field and at any stage of life and career. Calculations and maths are the main components of quantitative ability.</p>

<p>One can say it is easier to crack Quantitative Aptitude as it all about concepts, theories and practice. If you have practiced enough, you&rsquo;ll know the types of questions that will be asked in the exam. However, Verbal Ability &amp; Reading Comprehension, there is no guarantee that you would be familiar with the RC passage in the exam. In CAT, RC passages are inference based, in XAT some RC passages are in the form of poem and in SNAP/IIFT, the passages are facts based. The Quantitative Aptitude section of all the exams are of same type with only different difficulty levels. Thus, you need to put in extra effort in VARC.</p>
