Is it necessary to have maths in 11th and 12th in order to prepare for JAM biotechnology exam? I have done my B.Sc in biotechnology.

    Yes, it is. For you my friend, it is a tough situation. According to the eligibility criteria for the IIT JAM exam, it is mandatory for the candidate to have mathematics in the 12th class. No matter if you have completed your graduation from biotechnology or not.
    It's really tragic that even if you have completed the B.Sc in biotechnology, even then also, you are not eligible for the exam.

    Hello, Yes, you should have maths in your 12th class to appear in IIT JAM Biotechnology exam.
    To appear in JAM Exam, you should also satisfy all the other eligibility conditions. The eligibility criteria is based on three factors:
    1. Nationality
    2. Age Limit
    3. Educational Qualification
    So, you should satisfy all these eligibility factors if you want to appear in IIT JAM Exam. Best of luck!
