    No, there is no need to drop a year to get admission to UG Law courses through SLAT. You can prepare for SLAT within 3-4 months. To prepare well for the Symbiosis Entrance Test for Law, you need to sincerely study at least 3-4 hrs. daily for 3-4 months before exam date. Thus, dropping a year will not help you to get admission to any of the Law Schools of the Symbiosis International University. You can also appear for other law entrance exams, such as the ULSAT (University of Petroleum & Energy Studies Law School Admission Test) or apply to an institute that accepts admission to UG law programmes based on marks obtained in the quali
