    Dear Virat, LPU is the better choice to pursue your engineering. LPU does provide B.Tech in Mechanical. LPU is a better option, in terms of placements, best curriculum, infrastructure, well-experienced faculty, and provides hands-on experience on the latest technologies. As per my experience, LPU is the best engineering college in India. LPU becomes the best place to pursue an engineering degree with highly qualified teaching staff, the best laboratories, and modern technologies.     I could certainly mention that LPU offers B.Tech in various programs such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. Some of the important points to be considered for this are:
    1. LPU has 600+ acres of campus in Punjab and more than 25000+ students study there among many countries.
    2. A-one infrastructure- All the facilities are available on the campus. You no need to go outside in case of any need such as food, hospital, indoor/Outdoor sports stadium, etc.

    Without any bias towards any particular college, I ll offer you my own perspective. It depends on your end goals or objectives. Your decision making should not be on the basis of placements, packages but on quality of students ( your peer group), faculty, infrastructure, curriculum, and the alumni network.     School of Mechanical Engineering is among the best engineering colleges in Punjab. I had some friends in Mechanical dept. And they had great things to say about the mechanical engineering department. LPU is the largest university in India and it has many highlights.     LPU is a great university to pursue mechanical engineering. I'm alumni of lpu and from my experience, I can say lpu is the best, it has the best infrastructure and professional faculty is there who are always there for students. This university is best for the student who really wants to learn and grow in their respected fields.
