Vishnu, LPU is one of the best universities in the country with world class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITs, etc. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. Big companies come for recruitment purpose. Most of the students are placed in good companies with high package. Hi Vishnu, I did MBA from Lovely Professional University but I have one friend who has done B.Tech Civil Engineering From LPU. In LPU the B.Tech Civil Engineering programme is offered, where they will learn to apply mathematics and scientific knowledge to real-life situations and problems that arise from creating and maintaining structures, taking into account environmental, financial, legal and ethical considerations. If you wish to explore beyond the contemporary knowledge, you must opt for M.Tech programme in Civil Engineering specializations. LPU is the best choice to pursue civil engineering programme as LPU not only provides excellent teaching but also provides positive environment for learning. Beside this LPU also provides campus placements in well established multinational companies.

I won't suggest you to opt for LPU for any branch other than CSE as it is known for it. You won’t find anything good other than infra and placements.
