YES, LPU is the best for civil engineering programme as they provide best curriculum which cover all the aspects of the course and Faculty members are so cooperative and also give chance to apply the knowledge which they have gain during their course and also allowed to express their experiences, opinions & thoughts. Moreover they also provide best Placements in reputed organizations as they have tie ups with very organizations and they also train their students in placement, internship and so on.

You should consider LPU as the best University to study Civil Engineering. Civil Engineering is the one of the mother / unique/ the oldest branch of Engineering. Placement: 19.75 LPA (Sobha Realty) was the highest salary package last year. Huge number of Campus placement drives with reputed brands used to be held every year for this course. Yes, it is in terms of placements, best curriculum, infrastructure, well-experienced faculty and provides hands on experience on the latest technologies. LPU is providing its students with the exposure by providing opportunities for guest lectures, workshops, industrial visits, internships etc. It is one of the best places to pursue CIVIL engineering in India. LPU follows the practical approach through lab practices and projects to enhance the knowledge in environmental, highway engineering, construction management, etc. School of civil engineering also provides professional enhancement, National, and International Projects, Industrial visit, etc. A big number of campus placement drives with esteemed brands used to held every year. Last year the maximum package was 19.75 LPA by Sobha Realty. Apart from this Students are placed in brands like Gammon India, National Highway Authority of India, HCC, Shapoorji & Pallonji, DLF Homes, RITES Ltd. , NCC, SAIL, DMRC BHEL, KEC INTERNATIONAL LIMITED etc. As per my friend's experiences, those are graduated in civil from LPU. LPU is Imparting knowledge through site visits, case studies, real-time designs of structures. It has well-equipped lab facilities like concrete testing, cement testing, soil testing, surveying, highway material testing, and structural mechanics. They are Teaching through PPTs, videos, images, and animations.

LPU is the right option as the university offers an Engineering programme which articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology through lab practice and projects to gain knowledge in areas like Structural, Environmental & Highway Engineering, Construction Management etc. Which are in sync with industry requirements. Not only this, it offers: 1. Foundation and Core Courses 2. Engineering Minors 3. Open Minor 4. Industry Interface 5. Study Abroad 6. Placement pathway Addressing your query, one of my cousin who pursued CE from LPU told that the university offers: #Credit Transfer option where the student after successful completion of 2 years. At LPU may be given option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for the completion of programme subject to conditions and norms of regulatory bodies. #International Exposure Option where the student may be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country as decided by the University subject to conditions. #Semester Exchange where the student may be given an option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for a semester as decided by the University subject to conditions. Based on my interaction with various students from Civil Engineering Department of LPU, I conclude that LPU is the best place for pursuing B.Tech Civil Engineering.
