Identify the courses which best suit your skills and interests and choose accordingly. For e. g. if you liked technical d

Dear Neha, the things to be kept in mind are course, infrastructure, faculty, placements. There are many good private universities like Lovely, Manipal, SRM, VIT, Amity, Symbiosis, etc. That fulfill all these criteira. Also, some of them offer good scholarships to students. Placement is the main factor for selection of a business school. And the Brand name of the college go and search on your level or from references don't select any college by looking their adds.

Go through national rankings and magazine rankings. Consult seniors and alumni. I am a student of DOON BUSINESS SCHOOL, DEHRADUN. The college has a reasonable fee structure. The ROI is among the best in the country and the placements have been consistent over the years. The highest package offered last year was 22.5lpa.

Refer rankings by top raters and business magazines. After this visit college website and try to contact seniors. This is the best way. Before taking admission in Doon Business School, Dehradun I did the same and ended up in a prompt decision.

    Follow below steps :
    1) make a list of college you want to focus on.
    2) find out the students studying in current batch and get information. About the college.
    3) find out the alumni and understand the future orientation
    4) finally make your call after summing up the feedback.
    5) don't go on rankings and placements figure given by college. Cross check them as you will be investing hard earned money. All the best. !

Hi. You should first of all look for the ranking of the college. Then you can look for the other aspects like placements, locality, atmosphere, faculty, facilities, reputation, etc. ALL THE BEST.

One should select college on following basis:
A college that can provide you with the right faculty and infrastructure, can lead you towards a happy and stable future. If the college does't have all these, then you might regret selecting it all your life.

What students generally consider while choosing a college:
    1. Social repute (Like IITs and AIIMS)
    2. Where theirs friends are going
    3. Clueless selection (Whichever they got randomly)
All these approaches are wrong. In first case, you listen to what popular belief says and opt an institute. Which may or may not be suitable for your learning needs, trust me not every IITian is happy with the institute. Second, if you choose a wrong institute just because your friends did, you all are following a rat race and there is no winner. You all must have seen the ad of Shiksha. Com regarding this. Third, if you choose a college and you are clueless,
