Hi,
1) GMAT is an international standardized test that one has to take if he/she is applying for international admission for MBA and management related courses at masters level. If you are applying for a MBA, or masters in management or masters in marketing or any management related field, you will be required to take the GMAT.
GMAT does not help one excel his/her career. It just helps getting admission in a good university which would help one in boosting his/her career.

Hi Joseph, the first and foremost step should be to obtain the eligibility certificate from MCI. The reason for this is that if you have this certificate then you will be able to know if the University you are going is recognised by MCI or not. If you get the certificate then you can always come back to India and appear for a screening test and if you clear you will be able to practise as a doctor. you will not have to suffer like many other MBBS graduates who have completed studies from abroad and their degrees not recognised by MCI.
