Btech in Computer Science is a very sought after course in my university which is KIIT , apart from major DAY 1 IT companies such as Accenture , Infosys , Cognizant , Wipro . Companies like Deloitte , Ericcson , Thought works , Zycus and many core companies for Cs visit our campus , other than than seminars Java workshops and other coding events usually take place within the campus . If you are choosing CS and are very good at it you will excel and probably get a very good placement .

Did you gave CMAT this year?
Also, CMAT will be conducted once a year from 2016 so if you had not given then you have no chance of getting it into the BK.
In case you have given CMAT, I believe you are eligible for the admission at BK. Still, I would suggest you go through the ACPC_MBA Admission 2016 guide lines which are available on the ACPC website.

Hi Kruthika,
Yes, it is possible but a little difficult as you must search for companies yourself. Many websites are available for helping students finding internship in foreign destinations. You may try a few of them

http://www.cisabroad.com/intern-abroad?utm_source=StudyAbroad&utm_medium=3rdPartyListing&utm_campaign=1001816-TXT-Intern
Please check the webpages and contact the officials directly for precise information.
Best Wishes
Anjali

They seem to follow a procedure of asking applicants to submit their marksheets. There are chances they scan for your profile before giving you an interview but this cannot be verified. But if you have scored exceptionally well in XAT and cleared all sectional cutoffs, then you will surely get the call.

Hi Birjesh ! As you did not mention your score and category, I am giving you information about the cut-off of all the categories. Previous year cut-off for general, SC,ST and NC-OBC are 78, 50, 45 and 66 percentile respectively. If your percentile is greater than or equal to the given percentile, then you would have a good chance for a call for GD/PI.

If you mean to be A-type certified aircraft maintenance technician, then you have to pursue such course from an institute which is approved by DGCA (General of Civil Aviation).
I am giving you a link where all DGCA approved institutes are listed, some of them are there in Bangalore as well.

If you are interested in a corporate job and career, you should choose a B-school/ MBA Colleges based on their Ranking, Curriculum, and Placements, and NOT by the degree or diploma they offer. Corporates don't treat MBAs or PGDMs differently. They only want candidates that can perform well on the job. So curriculum and faculty, and not a degree or diploma, is most important.

Hi, facing a similar dilemm last year, quite a few of us have chosen SIBM B. Being offered a general MBA here, it is not a super specialized course like international business. This is totally dependent on your personal choice. But if you look at placement, growth and location being Bangalore you get a decent exposure.
