Hi shamsher, If you are looking to do a course in New Zealand, make sure you do a minimum 1 year course in Level 7 or you should pursue a 2 year program above level 5 to get a one year Visa extension. There are so many good Government Polytechnics which offers 1 or 2 year courses. You can try EIT Hawkesbay, NMIT, UCOL, etc apart from UNITEC, AUT, Etc.
You would require a minimum IELTS of 6.0 and some programs might demand a score of 6.5 also. You need to show enough funds for Tuition and Living expenses for the visa. The visa officer might also do a visa interview to check your eligiblity.
All the best.
