Won't be able to tell you what would be the approximate cut off. Because it varies every year and it is not a fixed science. But as per my personal experience I would suggest anything above 300+ would give you very much +ve chances of conversion. So you can aim for the same. But as mentioned the marks out of 400 are not like a fixed format. So all I can suggest you is give your best in the Micro presentation & personal interview which is completely in your hands. Because 10th & 12th marks are already something which is done & dusted. The same is with the entrance exams score. So pull up your socks for the micro presentation & personal interview. And brush up with the current happenings.

Electronics and Communication engineers have opportunities in Government and private telecommunication companies for installation, operation and maintenance of communication equipment and systems.
Defense, space and other large research organisations employ electronics engineers in design and development of complex devices and systems for signal processing and telecommunication.
Industries involved in design and fabrication of devices, integrated circuits, embedded systems, electronic equipment etc also provide large scale placements for engineers with this specialization.
Installation and maintenance of electronic equipment used for health care in hospitals, equipment & systems for instrumentation and control in process industries automation systems of assembly line in production industries, etc are also handled by electronics engineers.
If the technical subjects interest you, then you can opt for a Mtech. Almost all engineering colleges/institutes admit students to M.Tech courses based on the GATE score. However, some of the deemed universities conduct their own entrance tests for M.Tech admission. The eligibility for the GATE examination includes a Master degree in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes.
