1) Plus two or equivalent with PCM and must have 60 percentage of marks in the aggregate.
2) You also need to pass the qualifying exam IIT-JEE.

I suppose anna university chennai is not offering the course. Sathyabama university chennai is offering the course. It has well eauipped lab facilties. They give good placements too.

According to me, you shouldn't go for an MBA. BE in Mechanical Engineering has nothing to do with MBA, it will certainly take you to a managerial position but if you want to go into practical field then the best options for you would be:
-Going for M.tech (in the fields like Material science, Thermal engg, Design, Robotics, Marine engg, Bio-mechanics, automobile engg etc.)
-Joining research fellowship programs
-starting your own workshop
