For all IITs (there are 17 IITs in India), you will have to give JE-IIT exam which has already taken place for this year.
For all NITs (there are 13 NITs in India) and some 125 good government and private colleges, AIEEE exam has to be given. For this year, it is already conducted on 29Apr2012.
