The main difference between geography and geology is that geography is mostly dealing with physical overall shapes of the land. Geology is a science that is interested in how the land got into the shape it did.
Geology is mostly about what the ground is made up of from a natural perspective. What kind of rocks it contains and how those rocks or layers of rocks got there.
Geography is mostly dealing with mapping the extent of landforms, how far rivers are, how long mountain ranges are, how long the coast line is. This is often from the perspective of people.
For example (see image to right) the map above shows the geography near Sydney, Australia. It shows roads, towns, locations of forests etc.
The geology near sydney map shows similar things but also gives more information about the rocks around the area.

For admission under the sports and ECA (extra-curricular activities) categories, separate application forms shall be made available from the date of announcement of the second cut off list. Date for sports and ECA trials and other details will be notified on the university notice board.
A committee constituted by the college will decide admission on the basis of Extra Curricular Activities. Candidates are therefore advised not to rely on their qualifying in the Trials and to secure Admission wherever they can.
As per the guidelines, every candidate applying under the ECA (Extra Curricular Activities) category will have to produce certificates to prove that she/he has been active in the last three years.
Certificates acquired at international, national, state, zonal and school level will be considered, and will be given a weightage of 25%. The other 75% marks will be based on performance.
Also, there cannot be a difference of more than 15% marks between the cut-offs for general category students and students admitted through the ECA category.
***You need to attach copies of the following:
1. A letter of recommendation from the Principal/Officiating Authority of the School last attended clearly giving details of activities participated in.
2. Documents in support of achievement in ECA on the basis of which admission is sought. The college is especially interested in the candidates’ participation in activities during the last three years.
3. Statement of Purpose written by the student stating how s/he will contribute to the life of the college and why s/he has applied to the respective college.
4. Portfolios are necessary for those applying under the category of Fine Arts /Painting/ Sculpture/ Photography and are desirable for all other categories.
5. A list of Extra Curricular Activities mentioning level of participation and prizes won in the last three years.
6. For those applying in the category of Performing Arts, it is compulsory to submit a CD recording of their performances.
7. A Certificate from the institution last attended.
8. Marks Sheet on the basis of which admission is sought.
9. Date of Birth Certificate or School Examination Certificate clearly stating Date of Birth.

With regard to your query, currently admissions are on only for the MBA-Hof University, MBA-University of Toledo and MBA(Part time) programs. For eligibility in the MBA-University of Hof program, a minimum score of 600 in MAT is necessary. For the MBA-University of Toledo program, a minimum composite score of 550 in MAT with language comprehension not less than 40 percentile or a minimum score of 450 in GMAT and 80 in TOEFL is necessary. For the MBA(Part time) no entrance exam score is required. Minimum work experience of 2 years is a must however. For applying to the MBA-Anna University course, the only option available now is to write the TANCET exam and go through the single window counselling process.
