Rahul, If you are confused about careers after graduation, there are a few ways to approach this. I am not sure how good you are with maths and programming. If you are, then you must pick up Programming and take a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). However like i mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with MCAs and BTech(CS) applicants. So choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money. See the IT company's credentials on the net. for example if someone provide LIVE PROJECTS are they there near the TOP on PORTALS like JUSTDIAL? Or if the company is registered with STPI (Software Technology Parks of India) - all good IT companies are registered with STPI. If a company spends money to market themselves to customers, only then they are able to get LIVE PROJECTS. Also, if you are an average programmer, and if you you're better with creative work, then you can head for web design or even vfx/ animation since there is a huge requirement coming up in that domain. There is also an intermediate path in games design and development. If you are good with Drawing and Creative opt for Design (Animation, VFX, Games, Fashion). If you are good with words become a writer (content, news, fiction, ads) or director. If you are good with keeping records go for Accounts or Stats or administration. If you are good with logic go for Law. If you are good at memorizing and love nature go for medical. If you are good with people go for Management. If you are good with nothing become a politican (haha, pun intended - actually you need very good insight into future for this). Wish you the best for your career. For admission in a B.Sc degree, the candidate must have passed the higher secondary school certificate (10+2) examination with science subject such as physics, maths and chemistry. However, this eligibility may vary from institute to institute as different institutes have different eligibility criteria.

No institute can guarantee you placements. It's just purely based on how you utilize your abilities and skills at the right time. I would suggest you to contact the training and placement department personally for accurate numbers.
Salary is a function of various factors - i.e. (i) the institute where you have completed your B.Tech + M.Tech. e.g. a graduate from a top institute will command a higher salary. (ii) Your work experience - organization and type of work profile (iii) city - a metropolitan city will have higher salaries as compared to smaller cities and towns. (iv) Your current organization - i.e. where you will be joining - an MNC usually has higher salaries as compared to other organizations. (v) Your work profile i.e. Manager/ AVP, etc. Thus one cannot allocate a figure.

24 is too low a score to secure a seat in a government reputed college. However, you may appear for other entrance exams and secure a seat in a reputed institution.

With PCM combination of subjects, you can pursue almost any field you set your mind on. You can ofcourse do Engineering which is a professional degree and has streams such as Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic and Communication etc. You can do your graduation in subjects of your interest, even switching to Humanities or Commerce streams if you so desire. You can do a BCA (Computer Applications), BBA (Business Administration), Law, Civil Aviation – Pilot, Astronomy, Architecture, Design, Mass Communication, Merchant Navy, Defense Forces, Psychology, Civil Services etc. To decide on the course, you should analyse your strengths, career goals, interests, personality, aptitude and ability. If you decide based on these parameters you will put in your best effort and will be successful.
The admission to the Diploma Engineering Courses is made through the Joint Entrance Test. Candidates who qualify the JET are eligible to apply for admission to various courses being run in the affiliated institutions of the Board. The admission to these institutions will be based on the relative merit of the candidates in the JET in their respective category. All candidates desirous of applying for admission are required to submit admission application form with the requisite fee before the last date fixed for submission of the same.
