Greetings from Shiksha!
Go for it if you have got a top state engineering colleges else go for a drop and then try for NITs or IITs but don't waste a year unnecessarily. If you get a top state engineering college, go for it.

There is no concept of Scientist in Whole Science. You may chose any Science stream and specialise. You are advice to plan study till PhD in subject of your choice. During your journey of research, you will learn other subjects also.

St Joseph's College Autonomous, Bangalore, is launching two brand new Under Graduate programmes (B.Voc. or Bachelor of Vocation) this month-end.
