Yes you can do it. What you can do is take admission in some integrated diploma-degree course.

You can get admission in Galaxy Global , Geeta intitute , MM University . KITM

You need to check with different colleges and universities. Many of them like Amity, Lovely, SRM etc offer admission on merit basis where even a student with 50% marks can apply but with increasing competition students have started getting high marks.
But then don't get disheartened many of them conduct their own tests for admission too, you can try on that basis.

Central Seat Allocation Board notified that JEE-Main ranks will be announced on July 1. Students can register their names till July 5. Options selection can be done from 1-8 July. The first list of seat allocation will be released on July 9.

There no such provision of leaving your degree in between and then rejoining after a gap through distance mode.
You will have to take fresh admission.
