A Bachelor of Fine Arts is a four year degree program, will often need an area of specialty such as-
acting, musical theater, ceramics, computer animation, creative writing, dance, dramatic writing, drawing, fiber, film production, visual effects, animation, graphic design, illustration, industrial design, visual arts, interior design, metalworking, music, new media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, stage management, or television production.
*Eligibility Criteria:
The eligibility for this course is 10+2 (HSC Examination) pass in any stream from a recognized educational board.
The scope in the field of fine arts is very wide and the art students have a large spectrum of options in front of them. It starts from working in art studios, advertising companies, publishing houses, fashion houses, etc. A graduate can also start a career as freelance workers.
Other relevant fields available are teaching, direction, photography, television, clothing and fashion. One can also start as art directors for magazines, on-line services, software companies, publishing houses, manufacturers, advertising, promotion and product design.

Generally, to pursue M.E / M.Tech, aspirant needs to pass B.E. / B.Tech from recognized University with minimum 60%. You need to sit for GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) .

The following categories of candidates are eligible to appear for GATE :
- Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/Technology/ Architecture (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final year of such programmes.
- Master’s degree holders in any branch of Science/Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final year of such programmes.
- Candidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master’s degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology.
- Candidates in the fourth or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master’s degree programme or Dual Degree programme in Engineering/Technology.
- Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by Institute of Engineers (India); AMICE by Institute of Civil Engineers (India)) as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. Those who have completed section A or equivalent of such professional courses are also eligible.
- Pre-final year students are not eligible to write GATE.
