Its excellent. Lovely professional university is the only university which review its syllabus after every six months as per new requirements of industry. It has highly qualified teachers and recently they have opened a new researched centers for students and staff. LPU has various tie ups with foreign universities. All lectures are delivered through projectors in class rooms and they have online system of assignments, note, project submission, discussions etc.
Last month LPU was in news as it open high tech MAC lab for its students. Most important of all is many workshops are being conducted in lpu to groom the students frequently. This university also take monk interviews, technical test, online quiz's and lots more.

The examination is conducted in three different stages-
The first stage of the exam is called preliminary exam/civil service aptitude test and it comprise of two compulsory papers based on general studies and aptitude test.
The second stage is called Main exam and it comprise of four compulsory papers and two optional papers.
The compulsory papers are One Indian Language, Essay, General Studies and English.
The optional subjects for the exam are as follows:
Agriculture Mathematics, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Mechanical Engineering Botany, Medical Science, Chemistry, Philosophy, Civil Engineering, Physics, Commerce,Political Science ,Economics ,Psychology, Electrical Engineering, Public Administration, Geography, Sociology, Geology, Statistics, Indian, History, Zoology, Law
Select optional subjects considering your own comfort in understanding the subject and the process should be done carefully since it is the very deciding factor for your selection in this prestigious exam.

*Preparing for IAS requires combination of smartness and hard work. Do the right things to gain an edge over your competition:
*Get the right books for Prelims
*Start preparing at least 10 months before
*Solve past year questions to test yourself on regular basis
*Cover the scoring sections early
*Cover the syllabus strategically. Don't go for a "prepare all" approach for IAS prelims
*Balance paper 1 and 2
