Yes, you may get government colleges of UPTU easily. Yes, absolutely. According to as per AICTE norms and UPTU/AKTU/GBTU all the engineering colleges and institutions have to fill some of their seats for lateral entry. All the branches have almost 12 seats for lateral entry, especially talking about the government. Engineering colleges in UPTU it is available in all colleges/institutions. Percentage of people getting placed vary every year. A good number of people are placed on campus from the college. Although there is a scope of improvement. Salary packages vary from 3 lac to 8 lac per annum. Overall college is amazing in terms of location, hangout points, faculty, infrastructure, etc.

Yes, you can pursue MBA in any specialisation regardless of any commerce background. Students from various fields like B.Tech CSE, B.Tech mechanical and many other pursue MBA. But one must clear an equivalent test for admission. One must have a good percentile or rank in CMAT, XAT or CAT. In some private universities these test are not compulsory, they have their own test for eligibility and sometimes these CAT like test are used for giving scholarship according to rank and score.

Hi,
As per the AITH and Govt norms, No fee will be paid by the SC/ST students at the time of admission. you needs to fill few reimbursement forms at the time of admission. the entire fee will be paid by the Social welfare department except few essential charges. However ever there are few restriction like the beneficiary income should not exceeds Rs 200000 per year.
