As far as my knowledge most people with engineering background go for IT management or operations. But I think it all depends on your interest. Like if you have inclination towards numbers and stuff like that finance is a good option or if you think you have very good communication skills and you talk to people and grab attention then marketing or HR can be the options.

Though it will test you in every field, still you can conquer it. KEE (Karunya Entrance Exam) test students in Mathematics /Biology, Physics, Chemistry+(general aptitude). You can excel in aptitude part with regular hard work and clear understanding whereas for your stream subject you should do regular practice and revision for the same.
