As GATE is an Exam that tests fundamentals and is more focused on a particular stream (the stream in which you want to pursue your M.Tech) there is no one set pattern of preparation that you can follow. So, the only suggestion which I can give you is to work on the fundamentals of your chosen stream and consider your own subject books for preparation.

In the first place, a visa interview for the Canadian Visa is very rare. Usually, no interview is conducted for the Canadian Visa. However, if an interview is scheduled, considering the fact that you can handle the situation, backlogs should not be a problem for you. Or can directly go for full time mba after CAT/MAT.
You can consider Skyline Business School, Delhi.
