Hi,
The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing M.SC Maths is having a graduation degree in any stream.
However, many of the reputed universities demand graduation degree with Honors in Maths or Maths as one of the subjects studied in graduation from any of the recognized college/university.
Some even ask for a minimum of 55-70% marks in graduation as qualifying criteria to secure admission in this course and some also conduct an entrance examination.

See you are a graduate now and have to settle down ur career.
now u have 3 options .
1. to search jobs. i will prefer only government jobs reported in newspapers and employment news.
2. to do M.tech
3. MBA
now the solution is :
1. if u will start working for the competitive exams or govt jobs etc you wud get the financial as well as the career security. and can pursue with MBA or M.TECH correspondence.
2. if u want to join M.Tech then you have the bright future in the teaching i.e. academics. and else wise you wud also be eligible for the govt posts likeresearcher, scientist etc.I wud suggest if u wanna go for M.Tech then must get the admission only through GATE all India exam. its on 10 feb 2013 and you cannot appear for that now because u might have not filled the form.why m i talking abt GATE. because u will get the best universities only through GATE.
3. If you wanna go for MBA then u can get settled in the corporate field and alsoin the government sector - semi govt sector also.
if u wanna go for MBA then must try for CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP tests etc.
because joining these courses is not easy now because u have to spend a huge amount in today's time. so if u have to spend lacs of rupees then why not to join the regular course and get the best institution.
the name of the reputed university or institute work as a TAG or LABEL on u though out ur life and career.

Written Examination
We accept CAT/MAT/CMAT scores. However, as CAT /MAT/CMAT scores are issued to the students, any student who has appeared for the CAT/MAT/CMAT examinations can apply for our courses with the CAT/MAT/CMAT scores. However, the MAT and CMAT scores will be equalized and validated to the CAT score value and that will only be counted for the purpose of merit list.
