After completing your diploma, you can try for Lateral entry by giving LEET exam. However, the eligibility may vary from institute to institute.
Chemical Engineering:
Chemical Engineering graduates can gain good job opportunities in manufacturing and service industries such as food, materials, specialty chemicals, plastics, power production, biotechnology, Tyre manufacturing, nanotechnology, mining process, mineral based industries, petrochemical, plants, pharmaceuticals, synthetic fibers, chemical engineering designs, nuclear energy, materials science, development of new sources of energy and even medicine. Some opt to work in laboratories and universities as a professor.
Those interested in government jobs have to clear Engineering Service Examinations conducted by the UPSC.

Pharmaceuticals.
The salary package for aspirants having graduation degree may vary from Rs. 15,000 to Rs 20,000 per month. A lot would depend upon the work experience and organization.
Here is the basic eligibility for pursuing B.E in Chemical Engineering:
Aspirant must have must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of the following subjects : Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Electronics
Candiate must have scored minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate of three subjects, namely, Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Computer Science.
As various institutes conduct their own entrance examination as a gateway for admission in their colleges.
In IIT admission is made through a Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted on an All India level

Key word for job search could me MEDICAL,LABORATORY AND RESEARCH EQUIPMENTS SALES.
3. This will require less word of mouth but generate order by online demo through you tube followed by little telemarketing. New hospitals, universities, research centres and analysis companies, pathogists, Medical stores, Super specialities units always look for
new equipments in every new years ANNUAL BUDGET.
4. Companies will train you to install and validate equipments and you will learn technical stuff with neither I.T nor Biomedical students can do being recent technology.
5. You will be the first hand source of knowledge and skill transformation for them.
6. These equipments require frequent SOFTWARE UPGRADATION AND REPLACEMENT to meet the need of inhouse ERP softwares.
7. In this way your role will become slowly like a service and post sales service engineer.

Aspirant must have passed B.E/B.Tech or equivalent in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or in relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks.
